C.K. Pithawala College of Engineering & Technology, Surat was established in 1998 by Navyug Vidyabhavan Trust with an aim to rise as a centre of excellence in the field of technical education .Its one of the oldest self financed colleges.

The College is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Ahmedabad and Approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi. Earlier, The college was affiliated to Veer Narmad South Gujarat University,Surat. The college offers undergraduate B Tech Courses in various engineering streams.

College is situated at Pithawalla Educational Complex, Near Malvan Mandir, Via Magdalla Port, Dumas Road and is spread over acres of land and has state of the art infrastructure and basic facilities like Library with thousands of books and journals, Hostels, Workshops, Language Lab, laboratories, computer center, Training and Placement cell, Alumni Association, cafeteria.
