G.B Pant Engineering College, Pauri or GBPEC,Pauri was established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 1989 for imparting Engineering Education and promoting technological environment of Garhwal region, the state and country.

The College is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU),Dehradun and Approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi. The college offers undergraduate B Tech Courses in various engineering streams.

The Institute is spread acres 169 acres of land with thick green forest providing excellent panorama of natural beauty. The institute is situated near village Ghurdauri, about 13 Km from Pauri city on Pauri Devprayag road in district of Pauri Garhwal. The Institute has a large library, state of art Computer Centre, Hostels, Workshops, laboratories, computer center, Training and Placement cell , Alumni Association, experienced faculty and desirable infrastructure.

The college has a vision To develop into a systematic leader and pivot for excellence in technical education sector in the state, and catalyzing absorption, innovation, diffusion and transfer of high technology for improved productivity, quality of life and empowerment, thereby affecting regional growth in the State of Uttarakhand.
