NMIMS Management Aptitude (NMAT 2012) is a National Level Test conducted by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS University) for admissions to its FULL TIME –FT. Programmes for academic year commencing from June 2012.

FULL TIME –FT. Programmes provided by NMIMS are MBA CORE 300, MBA Actuarial Science 30, MBA Banking 60, MBA Capital Market 60, MBA HR 30, MBA Pharmaceutical Management 60, PGDM –Bangalore campus 120, PGDM –Hyderabad campus 60.

For NMAT 2012, candidates can apply for more than one Programme from above mentioned list.

NMAT 2012 Eligibility Criteria:-

1. MBA CORE:- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt

2. MBA Actuarial Science:- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics / Mathematics / Engineering /Economics / Computer Science with minimum 50% marks in Aggregate in first attempt. Candidates with Professional Qualifications like A.C.A. (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) & ICWA (Institute of Cost & Works Accountant of India) can also apply.

3. MBA Banking:- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt

4. MBA Capital Market:- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt

5. MBA HR - Selection process is separate:- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt

6. MBA Pharmaceutical Management Selection process is separate:- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Science, Life Sciences, Medical doctors MBBS, BDS, BSMS, BHMS, BAMS, BUMS, B.Sc and M.Sc in Biotechnology from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt. Post Graduate degree in Economics, Psychology and Sociology can also apply.

7. PGDM – Bangalore campus:- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt.

8. PGDM – Hyderabad campus:- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt.

Registration:- From Monday, August 01, 2011 to Monday, October 10, 2011

Late Registration:-  From Tuesday, October 11, 2011 to Thursday, October 20, 2011

Scheduling:- From Monday, August 08, 2011 to Tuesday, October 25, 2011

Rescheduling:- From Monday, August 08, 2011 to Tuesday, January 03, 2012

Exam Delivery Window:- From Monday, October 31, 2011 to Friday, January 06, 2012

Retake Scheduling:- From Monday, October 31, 2011  to Thursday, January 05, 2012

NMAT 2012 Test Centers :-

The NMAT 2012 will be conducted at following centers (Cities)

NMAT would be an objective type multiple-choice test. (There will be no descriptive type questions).
