XAT 2012 - XLRI Admission Test is a National Level Admission Test conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur for admission to various Post Graduate Management Programmes conducted by  XLRI Jamshedpur and many other reputed B-Schools in India.

XLRI announces Admission for the following Programmes through XAT 2012

  • Business Management (Two year full time)
  • Human Resource Management (Two year full time)
  • General Management (One year full time)
  • Fellow Programme in Management


XAT 2012 Eligibility:- Candidate who have completed bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration or equivalent in any discipline from recognized university or deemed university are eligible for apply.

XAT 2012 Application Process:

The application form to apply for XLRI is available only online at www.xlri.edu from 27 September 2011. The candidate has to first register for XAT and use the XAT ID and password to apply to XLRI. XLRI Online Registration can be done in cash mode (Bank Pay-in-Slip) as well as in  Online Payment Mode.

 

XAT 2012 Important Dates / Notification:-

Last Date for XAT registration    :    November 30, 2011

Receipt of XAT forms                   :    December 05, 2011

Last Date for XLRI registration    :     December 31, 2011

Receipt of XLRI forms                 :     January 05, 2012

XAT 2012 Exam date       : Sunday, January 08, 2012

Applicants are responsible for ensuring that their application is complete and all the information provided in connection with their application is authentic and accurate.

XAT will be held on Sunday, January 08, 2012 in 38 cities across the country and 4 cities outside India for all the programmes (BM, HRM, FPM and GMP).

 
XAT 2012 Test Centres:-

XAT 2012 will be conducted on 8th January 2012 in the following 38 cities;

Test Timings : 10.30 am to 01.00 pm
Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Amritsar, Bangalore, Berhampur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Goa, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mehboobnagar(A.P), Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Surat, Trivandrum, Vadodara, Varanasi, Vijaywada, Visakhapatnam.

XAT 2012 would also be conducted across the following four international cities.
Colombo, Dhaka, Dubai, Kathmandu.


XAT 2012 Syllabus / Paper Pattern:-
XAT written test will have multiple components and you need to maximize your performance in each of these components.
XAT 2011 had three sections:

  • Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning (VA),
  • Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation (QA) and
  • Analytical Reasoning and Decision Making Ability (AR).
