Surgeez – the quizzing extravaganza of Thrissur Medical College celebrating the crowning achievements in Surgery. Since its inception in 2010, Surgeez has met with an unprecedented success, lauded far and wide by medical institutions across the country and volumes of knowledge imbibed by the stalwart participants. With more rounds, more infotainment, greater cut throat competition, Thrissur Medical College brings out this november 2011, “Surgeez 2.0 – the latest and the greatest”

All Government and private medical colleges across the country are expected to take part. With a whopping 2000+ online registrations last year alone, the turnout this time will be exponentially higher.

DETAILS

Third year to house surgeons pursuing the MBBS course can participate

Each team can comprise only of 2 members

The quiz will be conducted in 2 stages

The first stage will be a preliminary quiz held online and is to be held on nov 20-21 of 2011

The online prelims will consist of 30 Multiple Choice Questions, courtesy Dr. P. K. Mohanan

The qualifying teams up to a maximum of 60 (subject to discretion of the organizing committee) will proceed to the next stage hosted at GMC thrissur.

The rounds of the 2nd stage are subjected to the discretion of the quiz master Dr CLEMENT S.RAJAN

A sum of Rs. 200/- will be charged from the teams qualifying for the finals

PRIZES
The prize money for the winners is as follows

I place – Rs. 20000/- & Ever – Rolling Trophy

II place – Rs. 12000/-

III place – Rs. 7000/-

IV, V, VI place – Rs. 2000/- each
